Magnesium hydroxide is a new type of filling flame retardant with the chemical formula Mg(OH)2. It is widely used in rubber, chemical industry, building materials, plastic (PP, PE, PVC, EPDM) red phosphorus and some high polymer materials of electron, unsaturated polyester, paint and coating. It can replaces aluminium hydroxide because of its excellent flame retardant.
